Associates
Lay people may become associate members of religious communities. Associates
can be single or married and the commitment to the community in which
you "associate" with can vary.
How do you know which community you wish to join?
Most people find themselves drawn to a particular communities charism
and wish to spend their time carrying out through their work and through
prayer the spirit of the community. Many times there are activities
which associates also can become involved in the religious community,
or they can continue to carry out their current ministry within their
own parish or local community.
Many of the religious communities for both men and women have Associate
programs in our diocese. Check out the websites for the different communities
found on our contact page.
"And those he predestined he also called; and
those he called he also justified; and those he justified he also glorified."
